Can. Clear amber with a cm of off white head. Aroma is bready and spicy with some autumnal fruit. Not exactly vibrant and had me checking the date (it's bb 12/21). More going on upon a swig: some rye earth and spice, some laundryroom funk, some oranges and a firm bitterness.

Can from local Sainsburys. Juicy hops with a hint of citrus are the mainstay of the aroma here. Pours a bright orange with a small frothy cream head. In the mouth it is mainly old school hoppy bitterness, together with grains and some citrus. Some yeast present in the creamy texture. Finish is dry and bitter. An interesting beer. Not much Belgian influence, more like a cross between a bitter and a traditional style IPA.

Small cream head over foxy orange-amber beer, finely carbonated. Caramel, bit herbal... not much else. More caramel in the mouth, lightly coloured malts, dried green leaves. Quite slick, bit sticky even, not very carbonated feel. I suspect/fear/guess Belgian/Continental hops. Again proving that "Belgian IPA" is a contradiction in terms. Q.E.D. Thanks to Stef!

330ml can at Cafe Sånn, shared with Finn. Patchy off-white head, spotty lacing, misty orange-gold body. Dusty hops on the nose, mid-sweet malty scent to it. Malt-fruity flavours of juicy malts, caramel and piney bitterness towards the finish. Medium bodied. Pretty nice ipa version. (Tromsø 11.04.2020).

Spandert av og delt med Rune på formiddagstreff med damene i koronatider. Gyldenbrun. Filmskum. God sitrusaroma. Hint av karamell. Smaken overmoden ananas. Lett tørr avslutning.

Draft. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and fruit, leading to a bitter finish.

33cl can. Pours amber with limited white foam. Aroma is a little caramel and hoppy. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is somehow sweet with moderate bitterness. Finish is just a bit bitter.

Tap at Craft St Mary Axe. Lots of caramel, caramac almost. Little bit of spice. Something not quite there, and no ipa characteristics really. All about the malt. I liked it, but judging by the description above, it might not have been at its best.
