A supernova is a massive explosion that occurs when a star with critical mass reaches the end of its life. Collapsing in on itself, the brilliant beacon that has burned for some 10 billion years dies in a spectacular display for all within the visible universe to witness. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the gas and dust left in the expanded cloud of elements and minerals become the celestial compost from which new stars are born.
Inspired by one of our most requested IPAs, Nova Vert, we present Super Nova. Hopped heavily with Mosaic, Simcoe, Cascade, and Amarillo adding notes of passionfruit and peach, it builds on its predecessor by being more saturated and with a higher ABV. This is how a supernova would taste if handcrafted — as if, after burning for billions of years, our Nova Vert IPA collapsed in on itself and exploded, releasing all its dank hoppiness in one glorious burst.

Exotic fruity juicy hoppy aroma, also some more traditional herbal hoppy notes, but quite sweet and exotic fruity. Flavor is bitter hoppy, good pine into the aftertaste, grapefruit, sweet ripe exotic fruits, hoppy fruity sweet and bitter, i personally prefer sweet malty and bitter if it has to be sweet. ripe exotic fruits isn't my favoriute. good palate and good neutral malts with a good body. The beer is in fact all very good, just not my kind of flavor.

Panda thanks to Wingman. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, small and very short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. The malts are light and bring a mild creamy sweetness and a fair dose of unwelcome cereal grain. Soft ripe citrus. A little cooling pine. Mild hop spice. Just tastes tired. A real disappointment.

Vibrant notes of peach and mango, tangerine, nice and juicy, supportive semi sweet creamy malty backbone, some mosaic induced blueberry chimes into the assertive hoppy finish. All comes together well, lovely.

US Pint can from Taisoon, Bangkok and shared in Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is grainy, mango. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a smooth, rich, fresh, dank, grassy, light citrus, dry woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Over medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
