Burton local Morgan Silk is a regular at the Burton Home Brew Club. One fine evening, Morgan brought a home-brewed New England IPA to the session. An hour later, all guests were waxing lyrical about the wonderful hazy hoppyness of it, so much so that Morgan was asked to come in and brew it on the DE14 nanobrewery. The result is a lush, hazy, super-hopped NEIPA bursting like a tropical fruit bowl of flavour. Brilliantly bold and naturally hazed, this homebrew recipe is slowly becoming a favourite of DE14 brewers.

Keg at the Wolf, Bingoham, 23/06/18. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is orange peel, pair drop, light varnish, bready notes. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, dusty fruits esters, biscuit, melon, tangy citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with moderate hop bitterness. A pretty mediocre attempt from a big player at something crafty!

Keg at the Wolf - Birmingham. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a creamy white head. It's not bad, some citrus fruits, pithy citrus, dry minerality. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with dry and pithy citrus, good stuff.
