Golden colour with quick fading head. Aroma has complex woody notes with obvious vanilla. Sharp fruity elements are softened by the vanilla notes. Interesting.

Fles 37,5cl thuis. Droog, flink koolzuur, bitter, tart, funky, brett, hoppig, zuren, fruitig, citrus, druif, witte wijn, licht tonen van Belgisch gist, bloemig. Hele mooie combi. (21-2-2021).

Bottle. Gusher. Color: Hazy orange amber, off-white head. Aroma: Tart, funk. Taste: Moderate to medium tart and bitter, moderate sweet, pretty strong wild yeast funk, horseblanket, subtle fruity notes of grape, grapeskin, citrusfruit and berries. Over medium body, average to slightly above carbonation. Long lasting bittery and funky finish. Nice complexity, good balance, very good beer. I like the funky part of it. Only dislike is the pretty strong carbonation.

Bottle. Delices and Caprices, Brussels. Had this about two years probably. Deep gold. Lots of haze. No real head. Nose has baked apple. Toffee apple. Some white wine vinegar. Granary malts. Taste is sweet and tart in fairly equal measure. Medium body. Quite oily and slick. Burp inducing, brisk carbonation. Tart and sweet finish. An oddity, albeit an enjoyable one.

Metniste o zabarwieniu piaskownicy spora piana, szybko niestety znika, mega kwaśne owoce zapach stajni, trzody chlewnej i cala mase zielonej skorki kwaśnych jabłek. Zdecydowanie kwaśne i wytrawne do tego szalenie chmielne. Ladna papierowa owijka i korek niesamowicie wbity w butelke ze musialem uzyc korkociągu.

Bottled 05.11.2016. opens with a loud blob. golden clear color, rather big white head. smells musty, cheesy, grassy, marzipan, spices, wood, lovely smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, grassy, marzipan, bit citric, spices, musty, spices, wood, peppery, some blue cheesy, soapy. finishes dry and lightly sour with notes of cheese, marzipan and peppery notes. quite nice one, good complexity, almost a bit too much carbonation, gets a bit heavy once it warms up.
