Ridiculously opaque red and Ruby coloured body (as usual for their options) with a large two centimetre tall, very soapy pink and red head that stays very ugly and laced on the side for the duration. Aroma of super pungent grapefruit, blood oranges, cranberries and lemons with some light spices noticeable, but tons of astringent acidic fruits - very nice. Medium-bodied; Very sweet fruit flavours dominate with the cranberries and oranges the strongest along with some lighter floral hop and more pungent citrus hop notes that show a lot of character, but the sugars sort of overpower, even more than the highly acidic fruit notes from the grapefruits. Aftertaste shows acidic and very fruity components, balanced with tons of sugars, a light brine and salt flavour, but more from the alcohol and pungent, flavourful side of things. Overall, this is similar to their other 'Imperial Mimosas' beers, in a great way - these are truly unique and showing less of a traditional beer than a new drink entirely, but great to sample, again! I sampled this ten ounce pour on draught at the brewpub here in Lincoln, Nebraska on 10-October-2019 for US$6,50.
