Lightly roasted maltiness, a prominent aromatic nose, tropical fruit accents, and a clear, golden complexion make this a refreshingly balanced, dry ale handcrafted with European malt and some of our favorite American and Australian hop varieties. Judiciously dry hopped, this is an ideal session ale for any beer lover.

Old review from Feb 2017 - A 330ml bottle brought back for me from Hong Kong by a friend. Pours a clear golden colour with a white foamy head. Aromas of malt & grain. Tastes of sweet malt, hints of dark fruit & spices. Medium to high carbonation. Aftertaste is a medium bitter malty finish.

Bottle at the Beer Stall, Singapore. Poured a very slightly hazy yellow straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is light bretty yeast, tropical fruit hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a fresh light crisp, malty, light dry citrus hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish that developed as the beer got warmer. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Light and crisp. Fairly drinkable.

Crisp golden coloured body with a thinnish white head, about a centimetre tall. Aroma of grass, light hay, some subdued malt and a little bit of sugars from fruits and pure caster sugar. Light-bodied; Grassy and very mild malt flavours at first with a touch of of citrus and grain and a touch of sugars noticeable at the end. Aftertaste shows some mild malts and a bit of grass with just about nothing else. Overall, a decent beer at best that doesn’t have much flavour, but what it does have, isn’t too bad nor memorable at all. Not a bad beer for the heat of Hong Kong during the summertime months, either. I sampled this 330 mL bottle purchased from City’Super! in Harbour City, Kowloon, Hong Kong, SAR on 02-July-2017 for HK$21,00 sampled at home in Washington on 14-August-2017 when I got back from my most recent trip from Hong Kong.

Bottle in Hongkong. Smooth malty beginning. Hints of grain, fresh and smooth. Not too deep. Malty-grainy body, no bitterness, grainy aftertaste. No bitterness on a grainy finish.
