Bottle. Pretty much black with a light tan head that laces OK but doesn’t last that well. Aroma of biscuit, chocolate, fudge, a little pepper. Decent body, smooth. Biscuit and chocolate but not all that sweet, enough bitterness to round things up at the end - indeed it creeps up a tad and is mildly spiced. Good, very good for genuine session ABV.

Bottle (thanks fatphil). Pours black. Aroma is roast, malt, fruits, coffee. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, sugar, coffee, malt. Body is on the thin side. Overall: good.

Draft at Wateringhole. Dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma of roast, coffee, dark chocolate, caramel, malt and toffee. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Excellent for the ABV.

33 cl bottle at Café Ruiz, Madrid. Pours pitch black, bright and clean. Head is grayish and thick. Aroma is espresso, licorice, blacberry jelly. Taste is fizzy, watery, fresh. Nice bitter long finish.

Pours almost completely black, topped with a solid medium sized beige head, pretty lasting. Nice and pleasant mild chocolate, gentle roastiness in the nose as well with some fruity hoppy notes well in the back of the combination. Slight sweetness in teh start, milder hoppy bitterness in the finish, a swell as slight roast and very pleasant though not too long chocolatey aftertaste. Lighter body and superb drinkability.

Bottle from Amazon. Black coloured, with a beige head, Nose is roasted malts, bit of lactic tones, coffee, bit of citrus. Flavour is roasted malts, coffee, bit of liquorice, some sweetness. 1.97 euro per bottle + free delivery with Amazon Prime - an excellent deal.

Casi negra, opaca. Rico aroma, ahumado, café, regaliz. En boca cuerpo moderado, oleoso y en su punto de gas. Sabor complejo, pese al bajo alcohol. Fuerte base tostada, café. Notas de lima en el paladar, con punto de acidez frutal que contrasta el predominio de las maltas. Postgusto ahumado. Excelente.

Black color, light beige head, short duration. Aroma is light roasty and coffee beans. Flavor with light bitterness, roasted, some smokyness and notes of licorice. Light and dry aftertaste dominated by roasted notes.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Stas. Black with a big tan head. Roasty aroma, slightly sourish, with coffee. Flavor is quite dry, roasty, with coffee, a sourish note, and a bitterish finish. Light to medium-bodied. Decent.
