3/8/2022. Cask at GBBF 2022, day 2. Pours slightly hazy golden brown with a frothy just off-white head. Aroma of citrus, hedgerow, malt, yeast, berries, caramel, chalky soapy edge. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery, soft carbonation. Not the best today.

Bottle at home. It pours clear rich amber - brown with a foamy off-white head. The aroma is sweet, caramel, toffee, supermarket cola, slightly artificial, leaves, pennies and some fruit cake. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, sticky, caramel, toffee, cola, toothy, earthy, peanuts, wood, leather, pennies, varnish, waxy citrus and orange marmalade with a drying finish. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. A bit messy. Chewy and drying, yet sweet. Pretty basic.
