500ml bottle. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is sweet malt, light, fruit, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a smooth, sweet skunky gluey malt, fruity hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish.medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from Morrisons and drunk at home; Amber colouor unsurprisingly. Some malt, some sweet biscuit. Light biscuit. Quite light in flavour. Light hops on the finish with light bitterness. Hops are English style bitter. Not much to get excited by and not much to take offense with. Fine if unexciting.

50cl bottle from Morrisons, Bracknell. Golden amber with a loose white head; the aroma has some weak hops, but also some traces of corn; thin in the mouth with some caramel and underlying corn or rice, hinting that this hasn’t been made with premium ingredients; the finish is better with a touch of spice giving some warmth.

500ml bottle from Morrisons. Pours clear copper, thin, short-lived head. Aromas of over-ripe fruit and dishwater. Taste is metallic and sweaty. Unpleasant, astringent finish. Pretty grim.
