Way better than commercial ales, but definitely playing the margins between commercial beer and craft beer standards. Caramel malt and pumpkin on the nose. The refreshing session taste profile includes rich malts, pumpkin, and grassy hops. Soft carbonation and a hint of berries round out this easy drinker.

355ml can from one of the brewers at Phillips, drank in his dads garden on 13th August 2025. Used to be their biggest seller, but the new (ish) Lager 'Tilt' has now taken over. This poured a nice amber colour with an off white head. I thought it crossed over a few styles; English Pale Ale, an Alt Bier and an American Amber (All of which I like). Malty front and semi sweet throughout, went very well with the BBQ food I had with it.

Light brown pour small beige head. Light and bready aroma, light cereals, and some subtle UK hops. Lightly pungent, and very soft. Some good aromas abd flavours, but everything seems quite soft. A nice quaff, easily drinkable, low bitterness, with a solid nutty, UK hop finish.
