Dark red/brown in colour. Bready malt and faint chocolate on the nose. Medium bodied. Drinks smooth and finishes with a touch of roasty dryness. A paradox – quenches your thirst but leaves you wanting more.

Copper color with a nice head. Flavor is more crisp and hoppy than typical Irish reds, not nearly as much malt sweetness as usual for the style.

Tap at the Freehouse, Singapore. Poured a clear copper colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, light toffee caramel malt, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a smooth, dry malt, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at Heart of Darkness, pours a hazy amber copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt, not much else. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malt, not much hops or anything else. Creamy palate. It's okay, nothing special.
