Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of hops, citrus fruits, grass, and malt. THe falvor is sweet with notes of citrus fruits, hops, grass, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Schooner on tap at The Grainstore, Newcastle. Hazy golden amber beer with fluffy white head. High carbonation. Nose is weak fruit cordial and pepper. Easy drinking, fruity, bitter. Earthy fruity fimish. Delicious, thirst quenching, slammable pale ale. Really like it.

Tap at the Catfish, Melbourne. Poured a clear golden colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, yeast, light grassy hop. The flavour is light to moderate bitter with a light, slightly watery malt, dry hop, light pepper spice palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. True to the style and with some flavour for the ABV.

Bottle (bb 8/18 - drink fresh, huh?) Gold with an inch of white head. 3+ Vibrant aroma of tropical (passionfruit, pineapple) and citrus fruit, pine, some woody herbal notes (not quite chives). Light bodied, well shy of watery. Clean with hay and a very little caramel under the hops which are a pleasant balance of fruit, pine and herbs. Bitterness is there but is not rasping, which suits it pretty well. As is the case with almost all these so called SIPAs I wouldn't want more than one at a sitting because it gets to feeling a little vacant after 2/3 of a glass.
