Dark red and amber coloured body with a cola-like glow and a thinnish, quite fast-dying tan head that overs the beer nicely Aroma of alcohol, rich earthy and nutty malts with some caramelised sugars and toffee with a noticeable bit of hops that show some grapefruity and citrusey elements with a bit of floral notes as well. Full-bodied; Very rich earthy and nutty malts dominate here with a great pungency from the toasted grain and especially the caramelised sugars and toffee - this is very nice and incredibly rich. Aftertaste is very pungent as well with some metallic notes from the alcohol and grain and a lot of grassy, citrusey quality from the hops - this is very fresh and incredibly pungent throughout with a lot of residual sweetness and alcohol, without being cloying or too pungent. Overall, a very nice beer that hits the marks nicely and shows a lot of character while being full of malts and hops both, with a ton of nuttiness and sweetness. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Rozi's Wine Shop in Cleveland, Ohio on 31-July-2021 for US$3,49, canned on 25-March-2021 and sampled in my hotel room here in downtown Detroit, Michigan on 31-July-2021 a few hours later.
