Quite hazy deep golden, peach, copper and bright orange coloured body with a nice, two to three centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit juice, bright assertive floral hops with a good dose of malts and some noticeable yeast towards the end, but the sweetness [from fruit] pokes through at the end, as well. Medium-bodied; Strong alpha acids and hoppiness is noticeable up front with a lot of grass and flowers as well, but some smooth fruity sweetness comes through in the form of stone fruits like apricots and peaches and less of the oranges than I'd expect. Aftertaste is well-balanced with a strong bite of grapefruit bitterness, coupled with the bitterness from the alpha acids and a strong malty bite at the end, gives this some legs. Overall, a nice and potent New England IPA with a bunch of fruit flavours, but a great balance and well-rounded profile with sugars, malts and bitterness all together for one concise package. Great to sample and get it if you can find it! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), Florida on 30-December-2020 for US$5,22 sampled in my hotel room around the corner here in Lake Buena Vista, Florida a few minutes later on 28-December-2020.
