Tap at Slow Beer, Fitzroy, Melbourne. Poured a hazy straw colour with a long lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light passion fruit, light hop bitter. The flavour is light sweet with a grainy, light sweet fruit, light watery dry woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation and a bubbly mouthfeel. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

I got very excited when the guy in the (big chain) booze store said this was one of the best beers he'd ever tasted. It's also Two Birds, who make fantastic beer so my hopes were high. Clearly that guy has not drunk enough craft beer, because this is OK but it's not great. There's a nice aroma of passionfruit, lemon and musk, but the predominant taste is quite bitter citrus with only a modest amount of passionfruit. I think brewers are doing great passionfruit beers at the moment - there are lots to recommend, but unfortunately this is not one of them.

330ml can into schooner glass. Hazy amber beer with bubbly white head. High carbonation. Light fruity nose. good body, Zingy on the swallow. Finish is resin, earth and a light touch of passionfruit. Super easy-drinking quaffer.

Can. Just hazy gold with a large white head that lasts well. Tropical aroma with passionfruit, mango, mandarin sherbet, a tiny lick of pine is just enough to keep it smelling like beer. Light bodied, fizzy. Fruity but not very sweet, hayish malt is firmer than expected and whilst the fruity hops and (clearly real) passionfruit itself are the main feature, there's bit of bitterness and pineapple-like astringency at the surprisingly bitter finish. Very refreshing. Nicely done, will go very well when it really heats up.
