Inspired by some old farmhouse tradition, this beer was brewed with barley malt, raw wheat, raw unhusked spelt and raw unhusked oats. The husks provide in a distinct tannic and rustic profile. The beer was aged in oak barrels for two years. Bottled November 2021.

0,75l bottle at home. Bottled Nov 2021. amber hazy color, small white head. smells herbal, earthy, hints of funk, subtle ok. nice rather subtle smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes pepper, earthy, grassy, some minerality, light herbs, rosemary & thyme. finishes lightly dry and light to medium bitter with notes of grass, pepper and minerals. good stuff, very Saison-ish. Very drinkable, not overly complex. I can see why this one doesnt get a lot of love, but I very much like it.
