Mostly hazy golden and straw coloured body with a fairly large, three centimetre tall off-white head that's microfoamed and stays afloat for a while above the 75 per cent opaque body. Aroma of crisp floral, grassy and herbal hops with a little pine, resin and citrus here with the bitterness definitely showing, along with some relatively strong biscuity and lightly grainy malt notes here, too and ending with some alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied; Relatively rich malts show up at first and provide a big body that's immediately added to by the pungent and bitter hops, in a nice way with some light honey sweetness at the end, but the hops show strongest. Aftertaste is balanced and fairly rich here, with a kick of alcohol and warmth to go with the rich malts and bitter hops - relatively strong here, but expected. Overall, a nice rich and especially older school bitter IPA with a good malt balance and some soft sugars, all with a bit of a new school unfiltered quality. Good throughout, not great, but a nice catchy name and label art are great to see! Nice from the local-ish brewery! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from The Beer Cave @ Bob's Sunoco in Callaway, Maryland on 10-May-2022 for US$5,25 sampled at my house here in Washington on 19-June-2022.

Very fruity. Not overly familiar with Pacific Jade, but this is nice. Slight bitterness. Great CL match today at the Etihad. City lead Real Madrid 4-3 going into next week’s second leg at the Bernabéu.
