A beautifully clear golden colour with a creamy white head, and a faint floral aroma. Has a lovely, smooth mouthfeel with some citrus notes in the flavour and a really nice bitterness which lasts into the finish.

500ml bottle from Co-Op, Ironbridge. Drunk watching England vs Tunisia, World Cup ‘18. Pours clear gold, frothy white head. Aroma has pleasant fliral citrus, pale malt. Taste is light, bitter fliral, drying, modest hop presence, straw, some distant mirage-like lemon notes. Straightforward unfussy golden ale.

Cask at the White Lion Inn, Bridgnorth. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is malt, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light watery dry malt, hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

29th Oct 2016: cask half-pint in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates. Pale golden body, thin white crown on top. Decent enough blend, nothing heavy or strong aroma or flavour wise, just an easy drinking session Ale. Slight fruity taste, but again subtle in strength.
