Ridiculously hazy, straw golden coloured body with a thinnish, one to two centimetre tall tan and creamy head that tops the 99 per cent opaque, orange juicy body. Aroma of pulpy orange juice, grapefruit, hay, flowers, light spices, a dash of wheat and quite a bit of lactosey sugars. Medium to Full-bodied; Rich juicy and slightly creamy lactose and malty notes show at first with a mild sweetness and some more assertive hops and associated bitterness, with a dry, grassy bite closer to the end, with a pungent zest and citrus astringency at the finish with a moderate amount of alcohol noticeable, too. Aftertaste is pretty rich, well-balanced and complex/nuanced with some enjoyable bitterness here as well as some sweetness from fruits, but the wheat, lactose and grassy notes are strongest throughout here, that seem to persist here for the duration. Overall, a nice enough beer for the style and not as sweet or pungent as others in the style, which I like, as I do with the haze and opacity. Very nice to try locally from a new-to-me brewery and I'll be looking for others if I can find them from the brewery! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Laurel, Maryland on 23-February-2022 for US$5,29 into the store on 31-January-2022 and sampled at my house down in Washington on 24-April-2022.
