Very deep and super hazy amber and bright copper coloured body with a muddied bronze glow and a nice two to three centimetre tall just off-white, but fast-dying head that caps the 90 per cent opaque body. Aroma of squash (of course), strong icing sugar and caramelised sugars with a toffee bite and some additional grainy malts here, but the squash notes and noticeable allspice and nutmeg scents are by far the strongest, in a nice, seasonal way. Medium to Full-bodied; Pretty rich squash and spice notes dominate at first that provides a strong malt quotient to the beer with some lighter breadiness here, but more noticeable allspice, nutmeg, canella, cardamom and especially caramelised sugar flavours here that all come through right away, but the squash is strongest here. Aftertaste shows some caramelised sugars, bright toffee and incredibly strong nutmeg and allspice flavours with more of a sweetness on the end that is perhaps helped out by the rich grainy malts that show a lot of squash, but the sweetness is pungent, in a nice, supportive way. Overall, a nice, quite strong and rich beer with all the squash, spice and sweet notes that you'd expect and a light dryness and pungency that helps make this even more special. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from The Beer Store in Philadelphia (Franklin Mills), Pennslyvania on 17-January-2022 for US$4,99 sampled just over a year after purchase on 26-January-2023, canned on 05-August-2020, here at my house here in Washington.

16 oz. Aroma is pumpkin pie spice with cinnamon and nutmeg and what smells like clove and vanilla to me. A lot like pumpkin pie. Pours nearly clear golden with a one finger bone-white head with good retention. Taste is lightly bittersweet, with flavors of pumpkin pie. Finishes with a light herbal hop bitterness. A little thin and watery for 8.5%. Smells amazing and tastes pretty good. Above average pumpkin beer.
