Pretty hazy golden and straw yellow coloured body with a decently thick off-white head that fades pretty slowly and leaves a subtle lace on the sides. Aroma of honey, light grain and some floral elements, but the orange and fruity notes are here as well in the nose, all coming from the hops. Medium-bodied; Strong sweetness from lactose, honey and some caster sugar comes out, but the oranges and grapefruity notes are here as well, with some papaya richness and a dash of flowers towards the end, but nicely balanced between bitter and sweet. Aftertaste shows a pretty enjoyable balance with a lot of bitterness and herbal and floral notes and a good deal of sweetness and fruit aspects that show mangoes and papayas especially, but balanced well here. Overall, an enjoyable New England IPA that has the fruit elements, the unfiltered qualities and still some light bitterness and bigger richness from the malts that doesn't always come through in the style. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can purchased from GlenRo Spirit Shoppe in Monroe, Connecticut on 25-November-2022 for US$3,99 sampled in my hotel room here in Orlando, Florida on 27-December-2022 with my wife and three kids on vacation over Christmas Vacation.
