Tap at the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a clear dark copper colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is sweet malt, biscuit, light sweet fruit, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a smooth, rich grainy malt, fruity, big woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A fine session ale.

Cask-conditioned at Chums, Bristol 27/12/2016. Deep copper in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. Pleasantly malty beer, with some red berry fruits, caramel and slight earthiness, accompanied by leafy hops and finishing bitter. Good.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham on 30th December 2016. Clear copper with decaying off-white film and no lacing. Malty aroma with spicy notes. Fruity and spicy in-mouth, and an intense floral hoppy finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a light body.
