Poured from 650mL bottle (from Capone's Liquor - Powell River; 2024 vintage). Clear copper brown with small beige head. Toffee malt, cognac, feint esters and dried dark fruits. Decent.

22oz @ 🏡 with Ryan (thx, man!) and Alex.
Aroma: sweet, caramel, dark fruits, some brown sugar, has some Belgian character.
Taste: along the same lines.
Overall: not bad.

650 ml bottle. Pours a deep reddish brown with light head. Aromas of sweet caramel, raisins, a bit of maple syrup, and bready malts. Subtle and sweeter flavors follow same, with a touch of oak; but not getting any real cognac. Nice enough, though a little disappointing.

650mL bottle, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma is somewhat hot, with gentle cognac, bready malt, and some toffee. Flavour is surprisingly integrated but not complex, with bready malt, toffee, and a touch of cognac. They literally dumped cognac in here, eh? Legally side, it doesn’t really work, but it doesn’t kill it. Alright.

Amber brown colour. Thin head. Messy aroma with a bit of bubblegum, caramel. It's got phenols, strength but it's kludgey and doesn't come together. If you imagine some cognac it's there, but again it doesn't really come together.

650mL bottle. Pours dark brown with a white head. Aroma is generically malty, not much going on here. Flavour has dry caramel malts, a bit bready. Not bad, but nothing really going on here.
