Super hazy golden coloured body with a raw honey glow and a super thin pure white head that fades very quickly. Aroma of apricots, alcohol, citrus, grapefruit and another healthy dose of tons of fresh hops in the dry hopping stage. Rich alcohol and super medicinal flavour at first with a lot of citrus (grapefruit and blood oranges show through) and a deep floral and grassy note towards the end, but the alcohol is very noticeable and super pungent. Aftertaste shows the super astringent and medicinal flavours first and foremost with a deep floral and grassy note that shows pretty much only hops at first with a very light malt presence and absolutely no sweetness - this is all about the hops, bitterness and alcohol, and it shows. Overall, a super deep and astringent beer with a lot of bitterness, and a nice hop profile, while being much too strong and pungent without much balance or sweetness at all. Nice to try still, but definitely not a great Imperial IPA nor really recommended. I sampled this sixteen ounce can, purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), Florida on 19-April-2019 for US$4,27 sampled in my hotel room here in Prince Frederick, Maryland on 16-September-2019.
