Tap at Mikkeller Bangkok. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is smoky roasted malt, liqouirice, hop. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter light sweet with a dry light caramel malt, charcoal, light coffee, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Smooth and nicely balanced.

On tap at Great Leap’s hutong location (#6). Deep black with a tan head and a fudge/cocoa aroma. Light bodied verging on watery, the taste is cocoa, roasted oats and a bit of bitter sweetness. Not bad but needs more body.
