Even though I love the state of Hawai'i and have been there more than 10 times, I reserve the right to be honest. Insanely hazy and ridiculously pink/peach coloured body that is 100% opaque - but pink. Aroma of pure tropical fruits - passionfruit, mangoes, papaya and more guava imagine able. Full-bodied; Insanely rich in fruit notes that easily shows much more of a juice than a beer with fruits, sour, tart and sweet flavours that hit way before any malt or alcohol. Aftertaste is much more fruit and tart-centrric than beer, and the complexity shows juice that would be more normal Kauai than in Milwaukee, I a great way. Overall, an amazing juxtaposition on a beer versus juice that seems to do everything just right, but somehow seems seems like fruit juice and not beer, still! This one is a crossover beer for sure, and if my wife were here, there would be none left! I sampled this sixteen ounce pour for US$7,00 sampled on draught at the brewpub/restaurant on 13-March-2018 for US$7,00 while in Lincoln, Nebraska.
