We hebben ditmaal een zware Imperial Stout gebrouwen van maar liefst 15%. Om dit hoge alcoholpercentage te bereiken hebben we de wort een hele dag gekookt. Hierdoor krijgt dit bier een heel intense smaak. Verwacht tonen van chocolade, koffie en zelfs drop in deze dikke stout. Het bier is afgevuld in een fraaie 75cl fles, ideaal om te delen of te schenken bij een speciale gelegenheid.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, meaty, caramel, roasted, some dark fruit, taste is sweet toffee, chocolate, fruity, caramel, meaty. 8/9/8/8/8

0.75 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, best before December 2029. Pitch black with a few brown bubbles on top of it. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and roasted hazelnut. Rather sweet, malty, fairly roasty, slightly fruity taste of dark chocolate, licorice, coffee, roasted hazelnut, dark fruits and brown sugar, followed by a long, fairly roasty-bitter, gently boozy finish. Full body, oily mouthfeel, flat. Goodness me, what a super thick syrupy malt bomb. A very slow sipper, but I like it a lot.
