28/7/2018. Bottle at Højbjerg tasting. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, caramel and dark fruit. Light sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle @Højbjerg Tasting. Black, small beige head. Aroma has coffee, roasted malt, licorice. Coffee flavour, roasted malt. Some hoppy bitterness in the finish. Rather light.

Bottle. Creamy of-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Very roasted. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel, hops and has a nice bitter finish.

Bottle @ Saxo tasting. Clear very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, caramel and licorice. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 280718

0,5 flaske fra Meny Borups alle, i lejligheden en fredagskveld: brunsvart med storboblet skum. Myk og samtidig intens aroma og smak med kaffe, chokolader, mørke bær, jordaktige toner og hint av fuktig granskog. Kompleks og slank på samme tid, og farlig lettdrikkelig.

500ml bottle. Poured a clear dark reddish brown with a bubbly light tan head. The aroma is caramel roasty malt, molasses liquorice. The flavour is moderate sweet with a silky smooth, rich, roasty, liqourice, dry spice, hop bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Pitch black, beige frothy head
Aroma of soft mellow roast, getting dark fruits, no alcohol
Taste of rich deep dark malts, mellow roast, smooth, some savoury notes, soft bitter hops work well with the roast
Palate - Soft carb, medium to full body, soft sweet dark malts, fairly bitter hops, good mouthfeel, well blalanced. Finish of rich dark malts, some bitter dark chocolate
Overall - Really nice rich stout, going into Imperial territory

Bottled. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, and chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish.

At a tasting, many thanks hippoman, almost no head, vry dark brown color, dominant coffee aroma with wood, pencil sharpnings and vanila hint, roasted coffee and roasted coffee beans in flavor with grenish hints in the back, very dry with a roasted bitterness. Very nice and realy enjoyable.
