You like beer. You like tangy grapefruits. You're really going to like twisted grapefruit IPA. We use super-citrussy mandarina bavaria hops along with zesty classic chinook and, just to make sure, we lob in loads of real grapefruits, hand-chopped by Barbara who has the best knife skills in the brewery. What follows is bright, pithy, juicy heaven - twisted grapefruit IPA.

Old rating - A 500ml bottle my wife found me in Waitrose. Pours amber with a small white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of tangy grapefruit, citrus, flora, pine & spice. Body is light to medium. Strong tangy grapefruit bitter finish. Passable IPA but by not really my cup of tea

Bottled. Amber colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is grapefruit, some citrus, floral tones with mild pine to it. Flavour has pretty much the same elements to it, but also some herbal and mild elderflowery tones. Big grapefruity finish and aftertaste.

Pours clear dark golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of grapefruit, with touches og hops and hints of yeast. Bitter flavour of grapefruit (natural or synthetic, I am not really sure) and hops, with notes of yeast and lozenges. Bitter and rstery aftertaste with grassy hints. Not bad but it has that little twisted, synthetic touch to it, which spoils it a bit.

Can at the Crown, Hazlemere, 20/04/19. Golden pour with a decent white covering. Nose is grapefruit zest, citric tinged straw, toasted malts, lemon drizzle. Taste comprises pink grapefruit, grassy, orange peel, toasted malts, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with mellow hop bitterness. Somewhat simple but a decent beer garden refresher on a hot day ... shades of radler/shandy to this one.
