Refreshingly simple. Strong in alcohol and complex in the taste.
Just the taste of good barly and one good hop. Here the Chinook (US), with a crisp lemony taste, almost tarty.

Tap at the Hanoi brewpub. Poured a clear light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, tropical citrus fruit, woody hop. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a dry malt, woody, light resin hop, warm alcoholic palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

On tap at Furbrew, pours a hazy copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney and citrus hops, and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with citrus hops, some line, a little alcohol and biscuity malt. Appropriately bitter and crisp, with a nice lean body. Very good. Great to see a hop-forward, non-overmalted IPA in Vietnam.
