Goblet pour @DeepEllum. Clear, maple amber pour with a touch of lingering head. Cocoa & green pepper nose. Soapy upfront. It sort of lingers. Then there's some cocoa, then salt before the very mild roast comes in. Some bright citrus in there. Finish is mild, bittersweet earth. Am I drinking starsan? I still taste soap. Thin, chalky, good carb Pfft.

12 oz can from Total Wine, San Antonio, TX. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a beige head and very good retention. These blonde porters always mess with your mind. Lots of spots of lacing. Roasted coffee aroma dominates. The flavor is coffee-forward with some cigarette ash and a hint of cocoa in the finish. I don't like coffee but the ashtray flavor is off-putting. Thin mouthfeel for a porter. Pretty light and mellow overall. The 7.3% ABV is invisible.
