From explosivedog; thanks Stuart: pours super pale gold with a white head. Aroma is very grassy with a weird fruity vibe. Taste is a bit too malty for my tastes in a pils. Seems like it might be a bit old.

Tap at Beer De Luxe, Fed Square, Melbourne. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, tart, light citrus, floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Clear pale amber beer with thin white head. Medium carbonation. Nose is fresh cut grass and pepper. Medium body. Taste is bitter, finish is grassy, resiny, earthy. Long dry finish has sour notes. Unusual Pils, lots of flavours. Not very grainy.

On tap at 16 Tun. Aroma is great. Grass, funk, some Sauvignon Blanc character. Flavour is a bit less great. Little acidity, a controlled funk. Not particularly crisp, but still easy to drink.

On tap at Beer DeLuxe Melbourne, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp crackery malt and some grassiness. Flavour is crisp and punchy, with grassy hops and crisp crackery malt. Quite a flavourful pilsner, with lots of grassiness on the finish. Very nice.

Bottle. Pale gold with a large white head that laces spectacularly. Grassy aroma with preserved lemon, light spices, berries, crackers. More gooseberry in the taste along with cut grass. Just a little bready but fairly dry with fruit giving way to spices at the moderately bitter finish. I would have liked it to be a little less refined, but it’s pretty good.
