Honour the divine guardian with Athena's Biere De Garde. A traditional French farmhouse ale crafted to embody both wisdom and strength. Originating from the storied Nord-Pas-de-Calais region in France, this complex ale is a true 'beer for keeping'. Much like the enduring legacy of the goddess Athena herself, the malt character is moderately toasty and a little caramelly, with some biscuity accents while staying light and dry with delicate yeast aromatics.

Can. Copper with a coat of off white head. Aroma of spiced biscuit, some floral notes. The caramel in the biscuit leans towards singed. There is little sweetness, moderate yeasty/ fruity aromatics and modest bitterness. Pretty good, if a tad strong for what it offers.
