Our fourth annual rendition of this German winter holiday tradition. A higher strength dark lager with deep malt complexity. Notes of toffee pudding, toasted almonds, brandied cherries, and layers of dark baked bread dominate. Its finish is surprisingly dry with a hint of spice. Wishing everyone the happiest of holidays!

Looks great. Draft at Churchkey. Clear, dark garnet amber with a ring of white head. Lovely nose has everything happening. Malt and spice and dried fruit and some yeast. Flavors all follow. A little cake like black Forrest. Some booze. But the malt and spice really dance well. Finishes lightly boozy but basically dry. Crazy easy to drink and would put you down.
