Bottle from Winco. Pour is dark brown, spotty head. Aroma is raspberries, more candy than fruit. More raspberry candy in the taste, along with a nice drying feel from the brown ale. Not as sweet as you might guess from the aroma. Thin mouthfeel.

Just small, light pinkish rim over opaque red-brown beer. Chocolate, rather gassy nose, coloured malts, stale chocolate cookies. Chocolate, ever so lightly bitterish. Initially almost no fruit flavour, and overall rather dull. Finish, warming up, has slight raspberry ganache streak, finally. Unfortunately it doesn't come over as very natural. but as a flavouring. Slick, towards viscous, rather light body, feels well carbonated. Disappointing; 7/4/6/3/13

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong, Bangkok. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light roasty, light red berry fruit. The flavour is light sour, with a dry fresh crisp yeast, fruity, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Tap @ Kick. Clear reddish amber body with a moderate sized tan head. Really nice raspberry aroma with malt in the background, slightly toasted. Flavor is smooth malt with fresh raspberry, medium sweet and moderate bitterness. Balanced body and long lasting aftertaste with raspberry and malt. A bit one-dimensional but quite nice. The berries are tasting real and distinct, but not too much.

Bomber from the grocery store. Aroma is strong in real raspberries; also, chocolate, dark bread crust, licorice. Pours dark brown but looks clear ruby red in the light; has a medium beige head that falls into a ring after a minute. Taste starts out faintly sweet and roasty before leading into a dry finish. Wow, what a nice surprise. I’ve been passing this beer up on the store shelves for years. I never thought it would amount to much. I’m glad I finally picked it up.

65 cl bottle @ ISKTR ’16
Aroma has sweet malty tones typical to brown ales; coffee and chocolate. Flavour has sweetish berry juice and chocolatey malt. Quite what it promises to be; a mixture of berry juice and brown ale. Somewhat balanced but far from perfect. Not sure if you can do perfect with this combination though...

22 Oz bottle poured. Pours a dark reddish brown with a sweet, fresh r ed raspberry aroma. Hint of chocolate there too. Lasting cream like tan head. Sweet, lighter bodied beer with caramel like malt flavor. Raspberry flavor all throughout as expected. Fruity finish. Not a bad beer here. Had to try it, and enjoyed it.
