Bottle from Oxwell and Co, Singapore. Poured a medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is woody resin hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a malt, woody resin hop metallic bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Closer to an APA than an IPA in my opinion, but a nice one. There’s a nice citrus aroma of grapefruit but also stone fruit and honey. The malt structure is really nice, giving the beer a good body and nice length. There hops are also prominent on the tongue, but perhaps more bitter than floral. A very pleasant drink and probably a good way to introduce people to IPAs.

On tap at GABS Sydney. Slight hop nose. Deep copper beer with thin white head. Chalky mineral taste with nice bitter finish. Nice beer, subtly citric.

The brewer appears to be a joint venture between plonk marketers Casella and Coke. Might matter to some. Bottle. Clear copper with a large off-white head that lasts very well. High bead. Aroma of caramel, kumquats, pine. Medium bodied (feels a deal heavier than 5.4%), carbonation is a bit on the high side for me. Rather sweet with plenty of toffee flavours, but there are some light tropical and toasty notes that stop it from being too plain. Tenor register citrus and some pine and pepper struggle to shine all that much towards the rather bitter finish. A bit heavy on the caramel for me, but this is a pretty good effort and not a timid beer at all.
