Eternal Hibernation, our first take on an English style Barley Wine, is a perfect winter warmer.
Malt used are Maris Otter as our base malt, Ambermalt, CarafaII, Biscuitmalt and wheat flakes.
Mangum and East Kent Goldings were our hops of choice.
Fermented with a London Style Yeast.
This beer gives you very malty, cookie and cake like flavours and aroma with some herbal elements, where the infusing with bourbon puts forward some vanilla, nutty and caramel like touches.

330 ml bottle. Pours a clear dark mahogany with light head. Aromas of candi sugar, oak, faint bourbon, raisins and toasted malts. Flavors follow same with a bit of copper, but without much bourbon. A nice quad like barley wine.
