Canned 4/2/25, drunk 7/17/25.
Dark, clear. Large, well-retained, creamy, dark beige head.
Tobacco indeed, with light chocolate, light char and beautiful noble hoppiness. Clean and malty without too much dark malt character.
Bright, rich, malty, lightly hoppy. Light tobacco and light coffee, but like the nose, not too heavy on the dark malts. Good base malt contributing a caramel character as it mixes with the darker malts. Clean and well-attenuated. Maybe just a shade lighter-bodied than I'd like? I mean, it is only 4.6%, but the bar is pretty high these days on the amount of flavor and body lighter lagers have.

10 oz draft. Flavor is roasted malts, caramel, and tobacco leaves. Reminds me of whole leaf Redman from back in my military days! Slightly roasted finish with a nice dry texture. Plenty of flavors.
