olden Stout Time is made to invoke old memories and leave new ones. A hearty stout infused with toffee and honeycomb and light on hops, taking you back to childhood summers spent enjoying Golden Gaytime ice-creams. Despite its origins in the iconic summer treat, it is best enjoyed in the depths of winter. Let it take you back while at the same time feeling better about the now. Enjoy!

Malts: Pale, Dark Crystal, Roasted Wheat, Dark Chocolate, Roasted Barley, Malted Oats, Biscuit Malts

Keg at Draft House Charlotte, 16/01/18. Black pour with a well presented tan cap. Nose is chocolate biscuit, honey dollop, toffee fudge, light roast malts, brown sugars. Taste comprises chocolate, vanilla essence, mellow malt base, molasses, touch of Crunchie bar meets Golden Grahams. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. A more than competent sweet stout.

Tap at the Napier, Melbourne. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is maple syrup, vanilla, roasted malt. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth rich toffee caramel grainy hazelnut roasty liqourice palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

At a tasting, smallish, opaque very dark brown color, aroma of nutela, coffee and coconut in the back, flavor of chocolate, cocoa, nutla, krembo and charcoal, light but noticable bitterness, light sweetness, light to medium bodied. Yummy beer.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks funkwit for this bottle! Black with some tan foam. Great aroma of lots of chocolate, Nutella, marshmallow, toffee. Flavor is kinda sweet, with chocolate, nuts, milky note, roast, and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. Very nice.
