Although I was super happy to find a TG on tap in China, it’s sadly not up to the other Sue’s I’ve tried. Too much fennel which I didn’t expect and didn’t want in an IPA.

Teku showing well-filtered dark gold with half a finger of clean white foam.
The nose shows moderately intense notes of floral Belgian yeast and lighter notes of orange.
The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Belgian yeast forward with light notes of orange followed by a mild bitterness. Drinks more like a Belgian ale.

6 week old can
A: Clear orange gold with several chunks of fluffy sediment and quick head.
S: Bright aroma of lemon or sour orange and faint toasted bread.
T: A touch of woody sweetness mingles with the tart citrus, which lingers. Hops lean more lemon than orange.
M: Prickly carbonation, light body and an oily finish.
O: Just a bit too tart but nice and refreshing nonetheless.

Golden colour and small white head. Fruity, citrusy nose. Light-bodied. Fruity, citrusy, some Belgian yeasty spiceyness in the flavour. Ok.
