Tap at the Boilermaker House, Melbourne. Poured a clear reddish amber with a bubbly off white head. The aroma is malt, red berry fruit, metallic hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp dry fruity, light floral woody metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

From a 330ml bottle on 28/4/2016. Pours a dark amber/ruby with a medium head. Has a gorgeous floral hoppy aroma, with oodles of tropical fruit (mango and lychee). Taste wise, you get a good whack of caramel, some sweet citrus and stone fruit (orange, apricot and peach), and some relatively firm hops. Has a fullish body with moderate carbonation. The aroma and flavour don’t totally match up, but it goes down easily and all up is quite impressive.

Bottle. Darkish amber with a beige head. Aroma of toffee, pine needles, mango skin. Lightish bodied with a pleasantly creamy texture. Boiled sweet fruitiness with herbal and pine notes. Moderate but somewhat nagging bitterness. Not really my sort of thing.

On tap at The Local Taphouse, Darlinghurst on 16th September 2015. Reddish-brown with off-white shallow foam. Pine, herbs and spices decorate a floral hop aroma. Intensely hoppy, herby and spicy in-mouth with tangerine, liquorice and maltiness. A herby, grassy finish with a backbone of biscuit malt. Zingy mouthfeel and medium body. A delightful Australian Red IPA.
