Named in honor of the late Chris "Lappy" LaPierre. Lappy was one of my idols in Philly, and this French Country Saison is something I would be proud to share with him.
This four-grain saison includes wheat, barley, oats and spelt in the mash, and is hopped exclusively with French hops from the Alsace region. The aroma greets you with a zesty citrusy spice, a mix of black pepper and tangerine zest. There is a delicate green tea and wildgrass flavor, with a top note of lemon balm.

Draught @ the brewery (October 2024). Cloudy lemon yellow with a creamy off-white head, faint citrus aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter citrisy taste with typical saison yeast flavor, thin body, long finish. A nice saison.
