Cwrw Du Cymreig - Welsh Black Ale
Ceridwen was the wife of Tegid Foel the giant and mother of "Afagddu". She brewed a magical potion in her Cauldron of Inspiration and Prophecy, which gave whoever drank it limitless knowledge and wisdom! Our magical black ale is not brewed in a cauldron, but it's just as satisfying as Ceridwen's legendary tipple!

500ml bottle. Pours almost black with a small beige head. Aroma of dark malts, molasses, malt loaf. Taste of malt loaf, dark chocolate, molasses, mild ashy smoke or roast malt, bittersweet. Light bodied - only 3.7% so I think that's a fair expectation.

Oldham Beer Festival 2025, beer number 8 of the afternoon, at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in Oldham. A little thin for a stout, but manages to get some flavour across. Black in colour.
