Brewed to celebrate the launch of Adrian Tchaikovsky's latest book, Shroud.
It's no secret that we're huge sci-fi fans here at Gravity Well, so when Pan Macmillan got in touch to ask us if we'd like to collaborate on a beer to coincide with Adrian Tchaikovsky's forthcoming novel, we didn't take much persuading. Sticking to what we do best, Shroud hazy pale is a beer as intriguing and exciting as the world established in the novel.
Featuring Citra and Superdelic hops.

Can. A light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts impart a modest sweetness. Crisp cooling pine. Bright but slightly watery citrus and the Superdelic exotics are similarly recessed. Modest hop spice on the crisp finish. Clean and drinkable but the hop intensity is not enough to get my juices really flowing.

440ml can. Hazy golden, white head. Aroma of guava, mango, peach, berries. Taste is slightly sweet, tropical guava, mango, peaches, strawberries, tangerine, low bitterness. Medium bodied, soft. Excellent pale, and great to see a literary collab in beer.
