Sample at MBCC 2017. Hazy golden with a white head. Fresh and hoppy with grapefruit, some hay. The finish was bitter.

Tap @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration, 2017. Pours hazy orange with a small creamy head. Orange, grapefruit and pine. Some rye and oats. Smooth.

Mother Kelly’s. Keg. As ’Alpha State - Double IPA’. 9.0%. Hazy gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is smooth, with modest fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, nice light creamy sweetness. Smooth hop skunk segues into soft pine. Light hop spice. Decent orange and marmalade. Touch of ripe mango. Smooth spicy finish. Good stuff.

Draught @ CBC 2016 [ Yellow Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016, Oksnehallen Vesterbro, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 Copenhagen, Denmark. [ As Alpha State DIPA ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, cat piss, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, cat piss, citrus, pale malt, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160513]

On tap at CBC 2016, yellow session. Pours hazy golden, white head. Hoppy, fruity, citrus, grapefruit, peach, some pine. Sweet with lasting bitter finish. Medium bodied. Nice.

Pours a murky orange with some cloudy, white head. Nose is fruity, papaya, orange, tangerine, mild cheese. Flavor is sweet with guava, papaya, mango, mild malt, honey, still some cheese. Finishes sticky and sweet. Pretty nice.
