Ahoy-hoy? This 4% cask pale ale, hopped with Huell Melon and Mosaic, is light, bright, and seriously pintable. We've dialled in big tropical notes to this modern interpretation of the most classical of styles. It was the best of times, it was the blurst of times?!?

(Cask at Evening Star, 20250608) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was small, white and it lasted long. Aroma had pine, honey and bread. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were honey, pine, grain and bitterness. Aftertaste had hops, honey and bitterness. Good.

[Cask at the Greyfriar, Reading.] A pale straw coloured pour with a ring of white head; melon aroma; soft and soapy in the mouth with a sweet grainy body and a dry floral taste; then a fresh leafy bitterness in the finish. Pleasingly different.
