Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a few bubbles and a thin broken white head. The aroma is sweet malt, grassy hop, light fruit. The flavour is light bitter with a smooth, light watery, toffee malt, light floral, hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Way too light all round and no defining flavours. Not the best beer I have had from Thornbridge.

Cask @ Eagle And Child, York. Blonde with a thin head and very malty nose. It’s much lighter in taste and texture than its nose suggests and has a light dry hoppiness.

On cask at Cross Scythes, Norton Lees - Pale yellow body, a little cloudy with a firm white lacing head. Nose of tropical fruits, the sweet kind, oranges and a bit grassy. Taste is crisp, floral, with a hint of citrus at the back leaving a neat clean finish. Well done Ed.
