Half-pint, cask, shared with Finn at The King of Wessex. Clear copper coloured body, off-white lacing head. Moderate aromas of bread and leafy hops. Taste of biscuit, dough, caramel and moments of spiced fruits. Bittersweet tails. Decent version of the style. (Bath 03.05.2017).

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol March 2017. Deep gold in colour, with a small, off-white, head. Ripe orange and berry fruits, caramel, rich tea malts and a touch of citrus hop, before a lingering, bitter, finish. Good.

Cask handpull at Hamilton Hall JDW London. Clear deep amber copper brown colour lasting beige head. Malty bitter with some decent sharp fruit. A bit like the Hogs Back beer malty with a sharpish almost sour fruit finish. Some apple acidity. Some dusty hop. Malts arent great. Ok .
