West Coast Pilsner
Estonská kooperace. Když jsme se s přáteli z pivovaru Pohjala dohadovali, jaké pivo v rámci spolupráce uvaříme, návrh na West Coast Pilsner padl velmi rychle,sládkům zazářila očka, a bylo zvoleno. Čirý, čistě hořký a výsostně pitelný voňavý ležák, jemuž kombinace chmelů Strata, Cryo Krush a Motueka Amplifire dodávají povšechně ovocitou chuť tutti frutti s výraznějšími tóny jahod, maracuji a žlutého melounu.
Estonian collaboration. A reference to one of our favourite pieces of Estonian media. We were discussing with our friends from Pohjala Brewery what kind of beer to brew for our collaboration. The idea of a West Coast Pilsner came up quickly, the brewers' eyes lit up, and the choice was easily made. A clear, crisp, and delightfully drinkable aromatic lager, enhanced by a combination of Strata, Krush Cryo, and Motueka Amplifire hops, which impart an overall fruity flavor with pronounced notes of strawberry, passion fruit, and yellow melon.

Can. Color: Hazy pale golden, white head. Aroma: Green hop, floral hop. Taste: Hopforward, green hop, floral, grassy and piney notes. Slightly resinous. Medium going to over medijm bitterness. Very dry, long lasting finish. Hints of citrus fruit. Medium body, average carbonation. Great hoppy pilsener.

Tap at Maly pivo. Excellent, very clean, thin, drinkable. Rich in taste and bubbles, lots of white grapes, herbal lemongrassy, citrusy, exotic. Very tasty, bitter, dry, very good. Excellent.

I think canned at Prague Beer Fest 2025, probably courtesy of Tomáš. lightly hazy yellow-golden body, off-white head. Perfumey, floral, spicy, sweetish aroma. Dry taste, spicy, bit floral, quite dried out, ends bitter and lightly astringent. Quite fine, less complex than the hop profile would suggest.
