Bottle from the brewery. Tan-brown body, murky, unfiltered. Not much of a head. Funky, depthful sour yeast character. Brett forward, but a lot more than that going on. Not unlike a Gueze at times, without the lively carbonation or big wheat tone. Perhaps not a perfect beer, but a fun one to sip on. --- Beer merged from original tick of (collab with) Allagash / Jackie O's / Jester King / Central State / Side Project Keeping Together Miscellanea Vol. 4 on 12 Aug 2023 at 01:47 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8.5. Original review text: Pretty deep sour depth. Mellow tea, cherry, lemon notes, real Belgian style depth. Really good.

8oz. Reddish copper colour and small off-white head. Strawberry, bretta, funkyness in the nose. Light-bodied. Tartish but mellow, citrus, berries, bretta, some sweetness. Very balanced, almost vineous.

250mL bottle at the brewery, 12/1/23. Light chill-hazed, medium amber-auburn. Small, off-white head instantly to ring. Rustic, bready malt, mineral, cellar funk and light lactic notes. Gentle acetic and minimal Brett. Bready. Clean. Soft, rustic, just enough maltiness leading to an aceto-lactic finish. Juicy, lots of cherry vanilla, mellow Brett and light citrus and cheese rind lingering.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2023. Pours a slightly hazy orange gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has tart berry with a bit of light lemon and flora coming through. Flavor has a bit of funk, tart citrus, lemon and a hint of berry.
